David Santiago Ruiz Cataño is a 23-year-old student from Medellín, who is one of the leaders of the "Manantial de Paz" church, of the Hermanos Menonitas de Colombia denomination. Here he shares with us an exercise in the Writings class, in which he presents us with the challenge of reading a text from the book of Lamentations, against the background of the phenomenon of displacement in Colombia today, extending also an invitation to take on as our pain of the thousands who today suffer deeply for the innumerable and deep losses that the violent derailment brings.
