Item Relatos del Espíritu Santo en Hechos de los Apóstoles : una propuesta a la lectura(Medellín : FUSBC, 2017) Grisales Quintero, Jair, [autor]; Verbel Duque, Armando, [autor]; Jair Grisales Quintero, Armando Verbel Duque; Centeno, Jhohan, Mg, [autor]This monograph seeks to propose guidelines to guide the reading of the stories of the Holy Spirit in the Acts of the Apostles, this is done so that this reading is respectful of the biblical text and the tradition of the Pentecostal movement. It has been perceived that the interpretation of these passages tends to be quite partial in some Pentecostal churches, since the stories are taken independently and some of their aspects are dogmatized, ignoring others that are also relevant to their understanding and teaching. This work is developed in three parts, first an individual exegesis of some of the passages identified as stories of the Holy Spirit; Second, a comparison was made between them, highlighting the similarities and differences that characterize them: and thirdly, a proposal was made to read these texts, taking into account the results thrown by the study of their similarities and differences. Some conclusions were reached that stand out: not to take these stories as a dogma for the church, since this was not the purpose with which the author wrote them. The characteristics of the stories for the approach to these texts must also be taken into account. Speaking in tongues as an exclusive sign of the filling of the Spirit results from a partial reading of the texts. The imposition of hands as the only means to impart the Spirit is also a biased reading in light of the study of the passages as a whole. In the third chapter the importance of studying together these pericopes is presented in order to rescue the aspects that, with a partial reading, have been left aside and have led to give more importance to some scenes to the detriment of others.
